History of The Company: Serge Comtesse created its first salon in Alsace (East of France) in 1987. The business grew very fast, targeting high-profile clients and providing a luxury experience. In 1994, "Serge Comtesse Sensory Prestige" salon opened in Strasbourg, the capital of Europe. A few years later, in 1997, a new concept was born: Self Coiff, a brand which offered low-cost salon services. In 2013 the brand extended across European borders and a new salon was created in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2014 Serge Comtesse Sensory Prestige arrived in Cambodia. Today, the "Serge Comtesse Group" owns 90 salons both in Europe and abroad.
